Annual General Assembly

The Oceania Paralympic Committee (OPC) is the official regional governing body for Paralympic sport in Oceania.

Mirroring the governance structures and procedures of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), the Annual General Assembly upholds strong democratic processes and robust compliance standards—critical to ensuring sport remains a human right and contributes meaningfully to the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This alignment strengthens transparency, accountability, and good governance across the Paralympic movement in the region.

The Assembly remains committed to placing athletes at the heart of its decision‑making and promoting sport for people with disabilities throughout Oceania. In recent years, OPC General Assemblies have been held alongside the ONOC General Assembly, fostering greater collaboration and shared development opportunities across the wider Oceania sporting community.
