Oceania Paralympic Committee (OPC)
The Oceania Paralympic Committee (OPC) is affiliated as a Regional Organisation to the International Paralympic Committee (IPC).
Founded in 2001, our Vision is 'An inclusive Oceania Through Para sport'.
We are a charity and our purpose is 'To support Oceania nations to deliver Para sport to enable people with a disability to participate in sport'.
OPC works with National Paralympic Committee (NPC) members to provide opportunities for people with a disability to participate in sport from the community level through to World Championships and the Paralympic Games.
As a member of the International Paralympic Committee (IPC), we are part of a worldwide social change movement, which uses the power of sport to positively influence perceptions and change attitudes towards people with a disability and to create a more inclusive society.
